1. Using MirrorCV

MirrorCV is an AI-powered tool that helps you tailor resumes and generate cover letters. By using our service, you agree to these Terms. If they don't work for you, no hard feelings — just don't use the service.

You need to be at least 16 to use MirrorCV. Please keep your login safe — we cannot recover an account that has been taken over by someone who got your password.

2. Your Content

Everything you upload stays yours. You are responsible for making sure your content is accurate and that you have the right to use it. Don't upload anything that belongs to someone else without permission.

By uploading content, you grant us permission to process and store it so we can provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

3. AI-Generated Content

Important: AI is powerful, but it is not perfect. All suggestions, cover letters, and generated content come from third-party language models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or statements that don't match your actual experience.

Please review, edit, and verify everything before submitting it to an employer. We are here to help with the writing, but we cannot be responsible for decisions made based on unreviewed AI output — including rejected applications or misrepresentations.

MirrorCV helps you write better. It does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any specific outcome. The final call is always yours.

4. What You Cannot Do

Please don't use MirrorCV to create fake resumes, impersonate someone else, upload harmful files, or try to break our systems. If you do, we may suspend or close your account.

5. Service Availability

We work hard to keep MirrorCV running smoothly, but occasional downtime happens — maintenance, updates, or things outside our control. We may also change or remove features as the product evolves.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

MirrorCV is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best, but we cannot guarantee the service will always be accurate, reliable, or completely error-free. AI-generated content may not suit every job or situation — that is why we built the review step.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, MirrorCV will not be liable for indirect damages — lost profits, missed opportunities, or other downstream losses — arising from your use of the service. We are a small team building a tool, and we need reasonable limits to keep doing that.

If we are found liable for something, our total exposure is capped at the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD. Some places do not allow these kinds of limits, so they may not apply where you live.

8. Changes & Termination

These Terms may change as MirrorCV grows. If we make a material change, we will update the date above. If you keep using the service after that, we will take that as a sign you are okay with the new Terms.

You can delete your account anytime. We can also suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
